Fortunately, GWSS counts in the latest round of trapping have declined sharply from two weeks ago. They are now in line with historic averages for Temecula at this time of year. A total of 158 adults were caught on 123 traps in citrus groves and vineyards.
31 traps captured multiple GWSS adults, but just two had 10 or more. A couple of pockets of high sharpshooter activity are apparent in the western part of the Valley.
