GWSS activity continues to be higher than is typically the case this time of year. A total of 72 GWSS were captured over the past month. The current warm weather is likely to contribute to high capture rates in the near future, as warm weather often encourages greater activity and movement by sharpshooters

18 of the 131 total traps captured at least one GWSS adult over this period, with as many as 11 caught on a trap. The vast majority of captures occurred in two distinct pockets in the central portion of the Valley
