GWSS captures are up slightly from a couple of weeks ago. However, this apparent increase in activity is solely attributable to one of the seven sites that reported counts

All six GWSS captured were at this single site, on three of the 4 traps. As you can see in the lefthand map below, all other sites recorded no GWSS.

Western grapeleaf skeletonizer counts were low, with just 1 adult moth captured at one of the six sites reporting. However, this apparent decline since the last census may stem from the one site that has tended to find numerous WGLS did not report this time

Note that the next round reporting will occur in approximately a month, in early November
