GWSS activity seems to be shutting down, which isn't too surprising given the (pleasantly) cool weather recently. Just 17 total GWSS were captured on a total of 115 traps. More of what's been a strange year, albeit a good one from the perspective of GWSS and PD - a very delayed start and somewhat early slowdown

Not surprisingly, the declining GWSS captures were widespread. One trap captured 4 sharpshooters, another 13 captured a single insect, and the vast majority captured none

As already noted, it's a good time to scout for PD. Please let Matt (mattd@ucr.edu) know if you're seeing anything notable
