GWSS activity dropped down to where it is at this time of year in an average year. A total of 76 adults were caught among the 115 traps. GWSS activity this time of year is not as important with respect to spreading chronic Pierce's disease. Nonetheless, given the cooler weather we'll hopefully continue to see declines in GWSS moving into the Fall

GWSS were captured on 29 traps, with as many as 9 on one trap. A few of the traps with the highest catch two weeks ago caught notably fewer this census (3 vs. 16), but GWSS were still fairly widespread in the valley
